1. Select the type of bag you desire:

2. Estimate the density of your product.

The density is the amount of material or product contained in a space or volume, and in a specific FLEXIBLE LAMINATED BAG it is important to know the density since with it we can tell you with high level of confidence, the size of bags you require.

3. Hereunder we will ask you to enter the density of your priorly calculated product:

  • Density of your product
  • Weight of your product:

Select the bag dimensions you are requiring for your product (Powders and Semiliquids) Exemple: For 2 Kg of ground coffee (exemple of exercise, refer to an account executive).

Calculation of Density

  1. Weigh an empty beaker of 1 lt capacity (0,3 kg).
  2. Add ground coffee up to the mark of 1 lt without compacting it.
  3. Weigh the container with the coffee (1 kg) and deduct that weight from the one of the beaker (1 - 0,3 = 0,7 Kg)
  4. Divide the result by 1 Lt to get the density:
    Density = weight of the product (kg) / volume (1 Lt) 0,7 / 1 = 0,7 Kg/Lt

Calculation of Volumetric Capacity

  1. Divide the kilograms you want to pack (2 kg) by the amount of the density of your product (0,7).
  2. Choose the whole immediate higher number and that will be the liter volumetric capacity of your product.
  3. Check the table to know the sizes, and suggested measures.
    Liters = weight (kilograms)/density (liters)
    2/0,7 = 2,85 Lt

It is required a 3 liter capacity bag
